1. Can I use Web Check-In for international flights?
- No. Web Check-In is only available for Mexican domestic flights.
2. Can I use a dial-up Internet connection to access Volaris' Web check-in program?
- Yes, customers with a dial-up Internet connection may attempt to use Web check-in. Unfortunately, this on-line service may be extremely slow. We apologize for any inconvenience.
3. Can I use Web Check-In if I am traveling with baggage?
- Yes. We recommend that you arrive at the counter no later than 60 minutes* prior to your domestic flight and 90 minutes prior to your international flight. For domestic flights proceed to the Volaris Self-serve check-in Baggage drop and for international flights please proceed to Volaris’ airport counters. There you will be able to check your bags with one of Volaris' Customer Service Agents.
- Baggage check is allowed a maximum of 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure.
4. When can I use Web Check-In?
- Volaris customers may check in for their flight using Web Check-In between 72 and 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time for Mexican domestic flights.
5. What happens when I use Web Check-In and cannot make my flight?
- You must contact our Call Center at U.S. (toll free) 1-866-988-3527 or Mexico (toll free) 01-800-122-8000, 4 hours prior to the flight departure. Applicable fees may apply.
6. Can I use Web Check-In if I have a Macintosh computer?
- Yes, Web Check-In is compatible with Macintosh browsers - Safari and Firefox.
7. What should I do if I am unable to print my boarding pass?
- If you cannot successfully print your boarding pass, still complete the check-in process, see a Volaris Customer Service Agent for assistance upon arrival at the airport.
8. What should I do if I lose my boarding pass?
- If you lose your boarding pass you may print a duplicate boarding pass by; re-entering Web Check-In or seeing a Volaris Customer Service Agent for assistance upon arrival at the airport.
9. What documents do I require at the airport?
- Please ensure you have your Web Check-In boarding pass and photo identification with you at the airport. Click here for identification requirements.
10. Do all members on my reservation have to check in together using Web Check-In?
- No. Each customer can check in separately when and where they wish.
11. Can I make any changes to my booking while using Web Check-In?
- No, Web Check-In is for checking in for your flight only.
12. What paper should I use to print the boarding pass?
- The boarding pass is intended to fit on one standard letter sheet of 8.5" x 11".
13. Can I check in for my same day return flight using Web Check-In?
- You may web check-in more than 2 hours prior to your flights.
14. Can I change my seat after I have checked in using Web Check-In?
- No, please see a Volaris Customer Service Agent at the airport to change your seat assignment after you have checked in.
15. Can I make any special service requests for my flight using Web Check-In?
- No. All special service requests, such as wheelchair assistance can be made by contacting our Call Center at U.S. (toll free) 1-866-988-3527 or Mexico (toll free) 01-800-122-8000 or by seeing a Volaris Customer Service Agent at the airport.
16. Once I have checked in using Web Check-In, how can I find out if my flight is on time?

17. Can I call someone to check me in if I am not able to do so online?
- No, check-in is only available online or at the airport.
18. Can I use Web Check-In if I use accents in the spelling of my name?
- At this time, Web Check-In cannot decipher accents or special characters used in the name field. We hope to have this problem rectified soon and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
